YISORB^® UV-1 is a liquid carbamate-based UV absorber that effectively absorbs ultraviolet light with wavelengths ranging from 240 to 350 nm, with a maximum absorption peak at 308 nm. It can almost completely absorb UV light in the 300 to 330 nm wavelength range, while polyurethane is prone to degradation due to radiation in this wavelength range. YISORB^® UV-1 offers excellent light stability for polyurethane products, including rigid and flexible foams, elastomers, leather, fabric coatings, adhesives, and coatings. It inhibits photo-oxidative degradation, prevents product aging, enhances color stability, and extends service life. When used in combination with antioxidants and light stabilizers, it exhibits significant synergistic effects.
